i've been observing some interactions on here that went super hostile when they didn't have to and i know a lot of folks are on edge (rightfully so!!) after the past week's bullshit but maybe we can try and be a little patient w each other for a bit (this is for me too i'm talking to me)
I have things I could say about people with huge support on the left who have said really problematic sanist things that are not ok for a person like me to have to deal with hearing but I don't because those people are much mightier than me & I don't care to make myself a target speaking on them.
I think the fact that media isn't a sustainable industry without advertisements that have questionable benefits on purchase suggests less that streaming is a bad model and more that wealth is overly concentrated in the hands of entities who don't need it. You know, like a LOT of other problems.
