I do remember hearing about that! I'll have to give it a shot sometime!

When I visited some friends in Montana in 2013, we played Battletoads Double Dragon on the SNES. The music is such a banger for a game that's really hard. I actually learned how to play some of the guitar and bass lines for the songs in the game, especially Robo Manus' stage, a few years back.

Another fun squad game for me is Gauntlet Legends on the N64. My friends, mods, and I would usually get together on Parsec on Tuesday nights and we would play this game. We had a struggle beating the first boss, but it was a lot of fun. I remember playing it a long time ago as well when I rented it.

The Ninja Gaiden games always kicked my ass, but over time, I eventually beat it casually, then picked it up as a speedrun. I learned NG1, but the one that takes the cake for me was NG2. It felt more smoother to play, and having ninja clones doing the same actions as the player was pretty sick.

Out of the Arkham games, Arkham City is my favorite. I played the Wii U version, and utilizing the gadgets with the gamepad was incredible. My best friend and I went to the Wii U Experience in LA back in 2012, and this game was a demo for it. It was at the top of the list of games to get for me.

When I won the 6th grade spelling bee, my dad got me a Game Boy Color as a reward, and Super Mario Land was my first game. It had the SMB1 feel to it in a portable style, the music is great, especially the credits theme, and it was short and sweet. I had some nice memories playing this game as a kid

This is more of a guilty pleasure game. Through all the loading times, the absolute bs that happens in the game, and that one scene.. you know what I'm talking about.. I genuinely like this game. I feel like it had a ton of potential, but due to it being rushed, it never came out good.

Another game for the GameCube that I enjoyed; Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II. Back in high school, my friends and I would squad up to play this game either locally, or doing LAN parties. It was such a fun time playing this game with them. We even played this during band finals for 2 hours lmao

I am a wrestling fan, and one of the wrestling games I enjoyed was Day of Reckoning 2 on the GameCube. The story mode took place after WM20 all the way to WM21. The one match that sucked was the 4-way cage match for the IC Title, but in the end, I became the Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion ;)
