If you are not familiar, the Minority Presence Grant gives white students a scholarship to attend HBCUs in NC. I refused it when I went to Central in the 90s. The grant is still a thing now.
As someone who went to NC State and NC Central, I wonder what the UNC system will do to continue justifying the Minority Presence Grant.
I would like to believe that the Great American Novel I have been trying to write for 41 years will emerge from this trip. I would hope instead for great memories with my best friend
Going on vacation with my wife. I may be offline for a bit. I look forward to staying in our rented place named "The Artists' Cottage" for several days. My wife paints, writes poetry, and makes jewelry. We haven't taken time together without the kids for 11 years. We are excited.
