The trick that I’ve found when drawing animals is if you make their eyes stray just…a little too far apart… it works perfectly 😅 it makes them look a bit unfocused. Works like a treat!

Honestly I love that they were so passionate about how the cat should look. As far as color goes, I am a little stressed. I won’t be sharing any pictures of the colored version until it’s done, I fear

working on a high-detail commissioned portrait. The client requested their cat be painted in a sort of classical portraiture style and stressed that the cat, named Eliza, must have a vacant stare. I just started on colors and I'm a little nervous about it, but so far so good. #bskyart#art#comm 🎨

I can only imagine. I live and write insurance policies in a mountainous area that’s rather secluded from major weather events and even here we’re seeing major hikes in premiums both for auto policies and homes.
