Look, this is petty, and I don't even live in the city proper anyway, but having been exposed my whole life to the corruption and machine politics of Chicago I will admit to feeling a bit of schadenfreude at the moment
This is all good news! But the fatalism in the replies is worth noting. It's don't think it's misplaced, but if you want more stuff like this to stick you do need to actually vote in all those down ballot races.
A reason why I think this ruling is so important (and stayed up to write about it) is it shows how unbounded religious freedom claims can become with the right arguments and the right judges. This doesn’t stop at abortion, it doesn’t stop at non-profits.

For those who've seen the new video, I wasn't kidding about the red fridge. I put in something like 15 cans of sparkle water about an hour ago. It was running when I did that and at 37° It never stopped running and it's barely holding onto foodsafe temps!
