For those who've seen the new video, I wasn't kidding about the red fridge. I put in something like 15 cans of sparkle water about an hour ago. It was running when I did that and at 37° It never stopped running and it's barely holding onto foodsafe temps!
clearly you should put the cans in one at a time
Our domestic fridges are set between 5° and 8° C as food safe. Standard for our freezers is generally –18° C. I have no clue what that might be in #forgottenheit.
If that's centigrade your drinks will be way too warm 🤣
I use a tiny one of these as a candy fridge. It can keep easily melted chocolate just below room temperature, which is perfect. Seems that’s probably all it’s good for.
That fridge is scary. I’m not sure what could be reasonably done to it so that it’s better.
That's why when I made the video on it I was actually slightly terrified that I used this as a real fridge for several months. I imagine every single time I put leftovers in there, it got wayyyy out of its normal temperature range for quite some time.
Family member bought this exact same fridge and I had to warn them about it.
The video you did on that fridge is one of the reasons why I did not buy one, and the reason I never will. So thank you!
How does this work exactly? Is it just a digital circuit with a sensor and a relay to control the compressor? How did you bypass that from the built in mechanical (I'm assuming) system?
