I'm less concerned about that group of people than I am concerned about the many well-meaning individuals who are very strongly aligned with the idea that electoral politics is the least effective means to progress and then make the leap to not engaging with it at all.

I can't really say you're *wrong* or that I'm mostly not doing anything about elections because of other personal brainworms, but I also feel like when I look at what geopolitics has been doing since Nixon it looks Very Bad and not like democracy at all
