Just got notice that my mail ballot is on the way. Happy to live in a state that doesn't have a propensity to purge voter rolls for ~reasons~ But in case you do, check your registration! Make sure you've not been subject to surprise disenfranchisement

Also mail voting is SO NICE. I've always lived in WA or OR that have it. I usually just turn it in at a ballot drop box to make sure it doesn't get lost in the mail or something and to save a stamp.
I wish we didn’t have to pay for postage. One would think of all things, vote by mail would have prepaid postage.
In my state, you can go online & find the ballot that you will need to fill out on election day, so that you have time to research candidates & not worry about saying, "Oh, Family Court Judge. Who am I voting for there?" This is mine www.monroecounty.gov/etc/voter/
I'm in Oklahoma and we just went through a big purge, thankfully it's easy to check registration status. Just gotta get people to do it!

I just recently moved from Illinois to Michigan, and I annoyingly have to sign up for the absentee ballot every year I think.

Just for fun, what do you think about brazilian electronic voting? Cuz as a brazilian I think is wild registering my vote for president on a piece of paper and send it on mail 😅 Last video from @climatetown.bsky.social shows one of the countless (no pun intended) reasons why this is a bad ideia
I checked on a few friends in my state and they had all been switched to "inactive." I'm not sure if that means they were purged but it seems odd considering most of them voted in 2022.
