The fact that the GOP has clung to power in order to mismanage so many states so badly that they have killed people via police misconduct, infrastructure failure, and so many other way should be enough to convince anyone that the GOP is not merely a political party, they are an active force for evil
Related to this, maybe someone should point out the large numbers of immigrants and free black men (who were not citizens until the 13th Amendment passed) who were enlisted in the Union army during the U.S. Civil War who basically helped turn the tide of war and save the United States.
