“Just we two” Postcard from my collection. Copyright 1907, mailed 1909. This photo is by C.E. Bullard - he's my favorite of the Victorian/Edwardian cat photographers because he showed cats being relaxed and naturally beautiful, not dressed up in costumes and forced into anthropomorphic poses.

Black and white photo of two white cats on a cushion or folded blanket. A shorthaired adult cat is on the right while a fluffy long haired white kitten is snuggled into her on the left. They appear to be a cozy mother and kitten, cuddled and relaxed. White text in the lower right corner reads "Just We Two".

Dec 11, 2023 at 11:10pm MST Geminid meteor captured near Crestone, Colorado USA #astrophotography 📷📸

A bright, multicolored meteor streaks down in the upper left corner. The tail is green, turning to purple, then a pink flare, narrowed down again and finally terminating in a slightly blue bulb. The Milky Way is to the left of the meteor. Ursa Major, the Big Dipper, is visible on the right. Polaris and the Little Dipper Ursa Minor are centered.
