Oh it’s a delight in the broader context of his career. The reason I love Sunday so much, though, is that the yardstick is a full work of art that exists independently of the show itself. Merrily has so much that I adore, though. A score I can listen to any time of day

It’s a *clever* argument for purity, as is the producer singing “there’s not a tune you can hum” to Charlie and Frank to the same tune. I’m not as convinced by its argument against crass commerce as I am by Sunday in the Park’s.
