If these protests were against gays, immigrants, trans....anyone else, where the protestors threatened, spat on, and called for the extermination of any other group besides Jews, would you be so angry that the administration shut them down?
They shut down protests when they call for violence against a group of people and when they violate campus rules against harassment. Jewish students are getting spit on and threatened. If this were happening to any other group, would you be upset if the protests were shut down?
