Eh, I'm a teacher, and many of the schools I work are several thousand strong. Talking to a bored, unimpressed crowd, sometimes rather surprisingly overlarge crowd, is a daily occurance for me. Speak truth, be kind, and keep it brief and you'll not have too much of a hard time.
