This might be a bit difficult as humans don't have a shared ethical framework. It's easy to call for more ethics but not so easy to figure out what the ethics everyone affected might want or agree to.

Not only don't ethics have a foundation but they're also not objective. The search for "objectivity" in ethics serves no purpose. Even if you establish a foundation & objectivity for ethics, no one would follow the objective ethics any more than they do now because ethics are irreducibly subjective.

Interesting that Sapolsky wasn't able to make a single argument or show any evidence for determinism. He merely showed that people are influenced by their genes, environment & history. That's never been in dispute. Influences are entirely consistent with a probabilistic universe and human Free Will.
This is an excellent talk in which Kevin Mitchell easily but thoughtfully disposes of most every objection to Free Will.
"Classical determinism is clearly false." In fact, classical hard determinism is a childish fantasy based on treating "cause & effect" as an absolutist god that controls the universe.
