Been reading yaoi lately

It isn't going to impact me at all because I'll just do what I do in all my dragon's dogma playthroughs and go mystic knight/spearhand.

I do wonder how this'll impact encounter design, because now half the base vocations seemingly don't have ranged options.

I'm actually really surprised that dragon's dogma 2 split strider into two vocations as a way to add a 4th class. I was expecting to get something like bard or alchemist.
