Religion and addiction are certainly choices, maybe hard ones at times but choices non the less.
The problem is the lack of a way of distributing help to those who need it most. An opportunity was missed with tax credits. A reasonable level of income should not attract income tax. An income below a set level should be supplemented. An income above a higher level then attracts taxation.
Is that the same guy that wants to return 30% of our landmass to jungle, because current agricultural practices are unnecessary for human existence? Are music festivals essential for human existence?

Much worse than that, in the UK those that are handsomely rewarded to ensure an efficient supply & management of truly affordable housing spend endless amounts of time, energy & money arranging and attending conferences,workshops, etc all of which achieve absolutely nothing at all.
I was wondering how the batteries were charged and how they were transported to & from site, how were they positioned,etc. Suspect a detailed audit of the operation may not be quite so "low carbon" as being publicised.

It does make you wonder, when you see organisations including local authorities making 1000+ folk redundant, what did these people achieve when employed?
