Here are some pitches for game ideas I have for an upcoming larger-scale project. I like one of these a little more than the others, but let's see what my peers think in class tomorrow. #SmallGameStudio
It was just that day sadly
Playing through the rest of the projects from last week, I was very impressed by the sound design in the game Take Your Pills (ducktower.itch.io/take-your-pills@ducktower.bsky.social#SmallGameStudio
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I went to a showcase at the Manetti Shrem museum (very cool building) last Thursday. It was so fun to try out all of the games being showcased by members of the Game Development and Arts Club (which I recommend everyone to join if they haven't already). #SmallGameStudio
My game arcade-era inspired game ArcADHD (arcadey-HD) is out now and available at tyger8540.itch.io/arcadhd#SmallGameStudio
Play through the classic arcade game Frogger... with a twist! Play in your browser
I have only used 4 scripts so far for my Frogger-inspired game, of which the player movement is the longest. I have had fun calling functions in other scripts and using public variables in ways I never have before. #SmallGameStudio
There's a lot going on behind the scenes of my new game. I have a trigger on either side to respawn objects and it's all made in 3d. This has been very interesting to think about as I've only made 2d games in the 2d Unity environment in the past, but always fun to try new things. #SmallGameStudio
Here's a sneak peak at what I've got going on for my next project. So far I have implemented most of the features from Frogger, but I have plans to expand it further to make it my own, unique game (with Frogger mechanics). #SmallGameStudio
The third game I found very interesting today was Become A Great Artist In Just 10 Seconds. It is very easy to create wild art in the game, and I also liked all of the little sound effects, they add a lot of character to the game. #SmallGameStudio
