also you do not get notifications on stuff you "repost" (retweet)- so you won't get notified if someone likes your retweet of someone else's post only interactions on your own stuff. it's so nice and makes it easier to share other's work without bloating your notifications

THAT being said, unlike current Twitter, lack of netiquette around here will quickly introduce you to the meaning of "fuck around and find out" by folks who came here to get away from all that Twitter bullshit, so... Just don't be a dick. That's all it really takes.

Getting a mild chuckle at the "this isn't Twitter" remarks like... This place is what Twitter used to be before 1) that Nazi dickhead Jack Dorsey ran it to the ground and 2) whatever necro-app dump the Muskrat is turning it into. It's Twitter's realized ideal self run by actually decent folks.
