Oh! I don't know exactly where they came from, but for some reason in the Rain World community theres a dark furred scavenger with blue & orange eyes that people just took to calling Carl. He somehow became well enough known that when the Steam Trading Cards were made they put Carl on the Scav one.

Got an ask on tumblr about those "cell" iterators...

Spearmaster, with the mark of communication, is lying down on an orange surface with wall mycelia growing on it. It's staring up towards the void. An overseer pops out of the surface as Seven Red Suns asks "Did something catch your attention ?" The overseer goes to Spearmaster's side to see what it's looking at; from that angle, Spearmaster's chest scars can be seen. "Ah..."
"Messenger, I keep on forgetting-" Seven Red Sun's puppet rises out, gazing at the slugcat who looks back at them with delight. The overseer also looks on. "-our differences in scale..." The iterator pets its head with both hands.
Seven Red Suns holds spearmaster in their puppet's arms, looking from the gigantic orange surface that is their main body towards the void above lit up in blue by scan lines, their processes and halo. Below the surface, inspectors and coral neurons can faintly be seen. "You're right, that's quite a view."

So about those giant cell iterators...

Following the iterators without metal idea, Five Pebbles as a cell meets Monk. He's so big he dwarfs it while talking to it. "The last one I gave some help and some general directions." The feelers on the cell's surface reach out to the slugcat as a puppet comes out to face it. "I will do the same for you." Monk is now floating in front of Pebbles' puppet, just above his surface and surrounded by overseers.

What if iterators, but without the metal parts...

Two giant cells, one yellow (Looks to the Moon) and the other blue (Five Pebbles) are communicating through their tendrils as Rivulet watches, dwarfed by their sheer size. Most notably, Five Pebble's shape is distorded and falling apart, damaged by the rot whose cysts show up even on his surface.
