I have never understood how you get off manslaughter charges if your weapon is a motor vehicle.
Obviously Section 28 WAS terrible, but only in the way it made that sort of thing law. "This is how it SHOULD be and don't even think about complaining." In practice it banned things that weren't happening and were never going to happen without major cultural change.
I am getting increasingly irritated with how Section 28 is blamed for people not being able go come out at school or talk about sexuality at all, as if it was fine before. Nobody came out unless they were incredibly fearless because all the talk of sexuality was sniggering laced with violent threat.
You don't just randomly baptise people without thinking about it first, surely? And it looks like the baptisee is wearing sonething sensible.
Does anyone know a non-rapey sex pest reason why he's 'baptising' people in his pants rather than wearing swimming stuff or a wetsuit or just anything?

Well, I was just visiting a friend for the weekend, but...
St. Leonards is being sold to me with art, 2nd hand bookshops & lots of quirky independent places & people, but last night I found out it's also so bursting with friendly wildlife (badgers you can have a stroll and a chat with, benevolent foxes taking in strays) it's practically a Disney cartoon.
(Obviously I am just boasting that somebody called me cool, but indulge my 50 year old self. )
