So many people LOVE liberal policies but can't get past abortion / racism / gay people existing.

That's not entirely a bad thing. I'm probably a bit isolated because of politics and it sucks. A lot. Wife is more like Walz, and it lets her have conversations that I can't. Walz sees the hurt & wants to help; I'll take the starting point of compassion over whatever my brain starts.
