Random question. What is your preferred method of installing/running Godot, through Steam or downloading from the official site?

From the official site! That's how I was introduced to it anyway so that's what I stick with lol

Official site, 100%. I'm always testing new versions when they are advanced enough (release candidates) and I don't think Steam handles that. And for me, Steam = Games 😅

I like doing it with Steam at first, but I started using the dev versions directly from the site since it wasnt on steam. on my linux laptop, i use the flatpak after frustrtedly trying to set up a desktop file that wouldnt show the icon
