Comet #TsuchinshanATLAS last night from north of Toronto. The tail appearance is evolving quickly as Earth's perspective changes just after crossing its orbital plane. 50 x 20", 2024-10-16 19:47-20:10 UTC-4 ZWO ASI533MC Pro + Rokinon 135mm F/2 Cook's Bay, Ontario, Canada

A closeup view of Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS). The main dust tail extends to the image's upper left corner, and the fanning "anti-tail" stretches toward the bottom right corner. The bottom left side of the comet appears dustier than the top right side.
