Thankfully nothing major has gone wrong since I’ve been here - it’s dry, if draughty and I live with the minor imperfections. 🙂

Morning! Thanks, it’s a little Victorian worker’s cottage, used to be a ‘one up, one down’ and was extended in the early 20th century - my bedroom was part of the add-on. The plaster walls have been uncovered and partially replastered (I ran out of patience!) but I like it like this.

Friday night mini-pig making. #needlefelting#cottage

A hand in the foreground with outstretched fingers. on top of the fingers a little fat, pink woollen pig is balanced. Behind the hand is a plastered cottage bedroom wall, the photo is softly lamp lit.

A quiet back lane in Shrewsbury looking all warm and autumnal.

A winding, narrrow street with old buildings leaning in over it on the left hand side. There is a gothic looking church on the right hand side and two elderly people walking towards the end of the street. The light is hazy and warm.

A lemony kind of afternoon. #needlefelting

A small white heart shaped bowl with three woollen lemons nestling inside, surrounded by bundles of wool in various yellows and greens, all laid out on a striped quilt top.

Sewing in bed on a rainy day. #embroidery#needlefelting

A close up of a finger and thumb which are holding a wool sculpted fig, showing a needle and green thread sewing tiny embroidery knots onto the top of the stalk.

A properly lovely late afternoon. #Shropshire

A green field edged with trees, long dark shadows cast across the grass and a large hazy blue sky taking up most of the view.

Thank you very much - I’m still getting used to the idea that I can start a proper life in Shropshire now, hopefully!
