Mine is barely twitching and I need to update it - it’s been going for eighteen years and I’d hate it become defunct, thanks for reminding me!

The Wrekin looking particularly fine, just outside of Wroxeter - caught it as the sun was out. #Shropshire

The Wrekin, a volcano shaped hill sat in the middle of a flattish landscape on a bright day, with leafy trees either side of it and a bright green strip of field at the bottom of the picture. Set against a large puffy white and grey cloud with patches of blue behind.

Moody skies over Shrewsbury this afternoon.

Most of the picture is a brooding, sweeping stretch of grey cloud, at the bottom is a strip of bright green field topped with autumnal trees and hedgerows, lit up vividly by sun, creating an intense and sharp contrast between the two.

Aahhh, not long at all now. My gothic ghost story for Christmas called The Small Bronze Carriage on the Mantelpiece is just 99p / 99c. mybook.to/bronzecarriage

Cover of The Small Bronze Carriage on the Mantelpiece: A gothic ghost story.

An 80-year-old tale of young newlyweds. A chance encounter between two men who have not seen each other in decades. Both events linked by one curious artefact.

Thank you - that is a lovely depiction, I find old artworks of fruit are often more useful than photographs for getting a real feel for the colours and character.

A little needle felted and embroidered quince bauble I made recently, now on its way to Florida - quinces are harder to capture than I thought, very eccentric and individual! #needlefelt#embroidery#quince

A pale aqua green potter mug standing to the left corner, with a small wooden quince sat in front of it. The quince is an irregular, knobbly shape in pale yellows and brown shades with speckles of tiny embroidered knots in brown and a gnarled stalk at the top with a brown woven leaf standing at an angle. The background is a rough pale plastered wall and they sit on a shallow wooden shelf. The lighting is soft and subdued.
A small woollen quince ornament in shades of citrus yellows and soft browns with a brown embroidery wrapped stalk and woven leaf on a gnarly stalk. It is sat on top of a small brown cardboard box, with a round tag saying ‘gnobbly quince’ dangling over the side. It is surrounded by slim vivid yellow organza ribbon and is set on a white background.

Tonight’s ‘end of the bed’ display. Easing into winter time.

Mostly a rough semi-plastered cottage wall, blank with lines scratched on it. At the bottom is a wooden shelf with three small bowls of woollen sculpted fruit - pears on the left side, in a wooden bowl, lemons in the middle, in a white china bowl and a shallow mixed things in shades of orange and deep yellow.

Thank you - thought I’d have a change from endless miniature fruit. ☺️
