The ring you gave her was your promise, and she waited for you, because she trusted you. Thankfully, you're not the lying sort, and her patience and your effort to get back to her paid off. Mind the brambles that grew while she waited.
Laina's a tall, lanky lady, with big, long hands, and that'll present challenges when directly interacting with characters much smaller than her, such as Yuna. But that challenge is part of the fun! It makes for interesting posing.
Unlike past characters, rather than be a short sighted twit, I wanted to make an effort to learn at least a little bit of Laina before I did that illustration. I enjoyed it, and might go back and try to re-teach myself some of my other characters I still have trouble with.
