i can't believe i hesitated installing 11ty for so long. it took literally 15 minutes to setup, has the smallest learning curve, and made it 3x faster to write blog posts on my website
for sure. I built a site in 11ty this summer at a WP shop because it was faster to prototype. After I walked the lead dev through how it worked they were floored and kept it static.

Yeah mines on 11ty too, currently using decap cms tho planning on making a comparative version that uses wagtail and a headless WP version to compare.
Loving this conversation - interestingly my small clients tend to go with 11ty rather than WP. It’s quicker to get a polished result on a small custom site, there is always the pathway to migrate to a full s later.
