28) Cure (1997) In the past, this would've been Jackie Brown. But Kiyoshi Kurosawa's psychological horror thriller is a revelation, more unsettling than I expected. Fantastic mood & setups, & Masato Hagiwara comes through BIG as the sinister Mamiya. LOVE the glorious ambiguity of the final scene.

The still silliest thing I like to point out is how since FOX has aired the world series, at least one team competing is a market where they own or owned a station at the time of playing. Also this year will be the 8th WS in a row where both teams are in FOX markets
im not good at fighting games when i do play them, but Darkstalkers has such a great cast of characters and visuals. it's spooky and silly and cool and cartoony, there was nothing like Capcom in the late 90s but I wish this series made a comeback. Darkstalkers 3 / Vampire Savior (1997)
