Like we’re still surrounded by the greenhouse gases from the first steam engine, the first transcontinental railroad trip, the Wright Brothers’ plane, the Titanic, and from making the electricity that powered the speakers during the 90s swing dance revival. Forever.

I would say DS9 is objectively the worst Star Trek show, but it is the best of the 90s edgy dark scifi shows. Love all the characters but I don’t come to Trek for war crimes and torture. Also Trek is better as an episodic show.

What's funny is TO THIS DAY I keep a small card in my wallet with the phone numbers of my closest friends and family so I can contact them if I'm away from home and my phone is dead. Back in the 80s (and 90s!) it was just universal practice to do that, or just memorize numbers!

Fact 2! Seiko has a famous pop star singer younger sister named Erika. She’s the favorite. Seiko hates her. She’s about 2/3 years younger than her. Here’s some old old pictures I drew of her! Seiko’s dad is a music producer and her mom was in a 90s rock band.
