I got my annual tests done yesterday which is an EXTREMELY fraught thing for a medically-anxious person like myself to do, but I'm still here. My cholesterol is down (even in peri!), my A1C is up a teensy bit (that bitch peri), and everything else seems fine? Haven't heard from the doc yet. WHEW.
Make your meals/snacks smaller. If you eat a lot at one time, you’ll definitely be more prone to nausea. My hubs had to restrict his “bored eating” habit. His A1C is great and he’s down about 15 lbs since he started the GLP1 therapy.

Got some... interesting results from my bloodwork. My A1C levels are down (yay!) but the tests ordered by my OBGYN are... hm. Won't know more of what they mean until it's been reviewed. I unfortunately fell into "what does high levels of X mean" searches so gonna put a stop on that.
the roller coaster is real! I got a pump with a cgm like 14 years ago and it has nearly eliminated all my lows. it has its own issues, sure, but at least i'm a little more consistent with a low a1c.

I had a good day at the doctor, my A1C and blood pressure numbers are FINALLY in goal/"normal" ranges When I made a comment to my doc about "small victories" she stopped me immediately and was like "no, BIG victories, HUGE victories" and I almost cried in her office 😭 she is so kind and encouraging
His teeth have arrived!! He's finally sharing an apple with Teddy again! Good thing too, because his diet had gotten so bad that his cholesterol spiked and for the first time in his life, he's had a prediabetic A1C! He has never had to watch his carbs.
Yeah this is for getting my diabetes taken care of and it's not fun at all, but hopefully I can get down to an a1c of 5 soon. I know how bad cfs and fibro is, because I've been dealing with that since 2005. Solidarity. Wishing you the best
