This took way too long. But at 5,000+ words the article was just too lengthy. Now it's under 4,000 words (incl. TTRPG stats), and a smoother read. A little bit of colour was lost in the editin' - but while Titan Quest's story isn't bad for an AARPG, it's prolly not worth 5K words.

Delve was the name of a pretty popular league in the AARPG Path of Exile. It remains a popular mechanic. That could/would account for some of its increase, too. Also, a lot of folks tried PoE in the past few years because Diablo 4 and Last Epoch so…. /shrug

As someone who has synesthesia and also plays video games where sound indicators from offscreen enemies regularly display as little red arrows pointing to the enemy location, I love that the owl has some combination of my brain weirdness and an AARPG user interface.
