5K today. Absolutely crushed the final mile. Not sure if I dig my new running shoes, honestly. May have to go back to @altrarunning if these don't start feeling good soon. Onward.

Despite feeling ropey I went for a short run in my new @AltraRunning Escalante 3. They have the least amount of sole I've had in a road shoe since foot surgery in 2017. It was nice to feel the ground and reminded me of my much missed Brook Pure Cadence 2. Really comfortable.

It still wasn't pretty, but this week's Sunday morning run was much better than was last week's. #WahooFitness #AltraRunning

The last Denver trip, @AltraRunning team was having a mtg in the same hotel. Then I find out a few of my good friends swear by these shoes. I joined the crew. We’ll see how these do when I return to Den for another trip involving work, running, & hiking. #TeamEfficientPacking
