Fixed a 2nd Atari 800XL computer by replacing the bad MT RAM. This was not socketed to I had to desolder the bad chips, solder in sockets, and seat the new 64Kx1 DRAM. Works like new! #atari8bit#atari800xl#retrocomputing
Fixed this Atari 800XL tonight that was booting into the RAM test. I replaced all the unreliable MT RAM with 64Kx1 Motorola MCM6665BP15 DRAM chips and now it works great! $20 fix. #atari8bit#atari800xl#retrocomputing

I'm trying to find a thread anywhere that explains how to run Atari800XL emulation via Emudeck and Retroarch.
As part of testing my physical Atari800XL I installed an emulator to make sure what I'm seeing matches what I see on the system. I have seen this text a million times, but only like this during classes in the early 80s. Just the font shapes were enough to trigger that nostalgia feeling.
