Fair enough. I used to do that got to 32 schools in Dundee via Brompton with that mileage rate. God knows how many miles it actually was though.

Me, earlier.

A middle-aged bearded man in a green Barbour jacket, dark grey troos and brown boots using a sky blue Brompton folding bicycle for his journey to work. No PPE or special clothing is in evidence.

I am currently learning to drive, in part because I can no longer cycle - I used to have a little orange Brompton! I am strong believer that those who can should walk and cycle where we can. Living in a village makes it easy to pop to church but sadly the other churches in the Benefice are too far.

Over here in France the only foldables I've ever seen, and all in cities, are the classic British Brompton bikes... and several, I've noticed, have changed the factory supplied saddle for another British classic, the leather Brooks.

Met someone with a very nice looking bike in a very sensible color Seen here with his Brompton loaded up neatly. We shared a great deal in common. Similar attitudes about how to ride a Bullitt for one! Even had matching “Cars Over” stickers

Another Clockwork Orange Bullitt bike

First brompton and already has scratches :( https://www.cyclingeu.com/415506/first-brompton-and-already-has-scratches/ Bought my first brompton. Before I could even ride it, accidentally fell when I opened the trunk. Will this rust overtime since it has exposed metals? by OliveComprehensive41

Brompton have nailed it with this one. Ultimate travel bike / commuter with far fewer compromises than a standard Brompton. I reckon shedloads will be bought on the Cycle to Work scheme... <starts building cost justification for getting one as work vehicle>

That looks bloody lovely. If I was feeling a bit more flush I'd be very tempted indeed to sell my Cannondale and my old C-line Brompton and buy one of these.

<quirky bicycle content warning> Brompton have released a 20" wheel, disc-braked, Alfine-geared gravel bike, and honestly I may need a little moment here... Pricy, but if I lived in a city, was short on space and could only have one bike, this would be it, I reckon. theradavist.com/brompton-g-l...
