What I don’t understand,” Jeongyeon said, and not for the first time, “is why you’re not an art thief.”

“Every time you say that it’s more of an insult,” Namjoon said, leaning drunkenly across Jungkook to point his finger in her face and getting it dangerously close to her eye.

Jungkook reeled him back in, planting him back at his side of the table. “Hyung doesn’t steal art,” he said. “He steals money and then he buys art.”

“Do you know how hard it is to make art in this world?” Namjoon demanded. "Do you know what it's like to be an original voice in a sea of--"

"In a sea of pre-fabricated soulless focus-grouped money grabs?" Jeongyeon intoned along with him. "No, oppa, no clue."

“You started this,” Jungkook said with absolutely no sympathy at all.

“Don’t you get tired of his weird ethics?” Jeongyeon asked.

“No,” Jungkook said, turning a revoltingly adoring look onto Namjoon.

“Ugh,” Jeongyeon said. “None of it’s real. Money, jewelry, art, it’s all just a way for the rich people to keep score. It’s a mass delusion like any other status symbol.”

“You’re a delusion,” Namjoon snapped.

Jeongyeon rolled her eyes.

“How is she even related to me?” Namjoon asked Jungkook mournfully.

“It’s a mystery, hyung,” Jungkook said.

Summary:
When Jimin hears about a holistic treatment center that advertises healing through “animal caretaking” and is linked to a few missing person cases, all he sees is his big break as an investigative journalist. The truth is more horrifying than anything he could have imagined: the patients, laced with hybrid gene activation drugs the second they take their first sip of tea in the director’s office, are the ones who need care. By the time he figures it out, it’s already too late.

Concurrently, the Hybrid Procurement Center finally offers couple Hoseok and Yoongi the perfect pet they’ve been waiting for: a calico cat hybrid named Minie.

Summary:
In a world overrun by monsters, human Jimin has been hiding in plain sight for years. His life isn’t easy, but at least he’s free. And he knows nothing could be worse than becoming a monster’s pet.

Tentacle monster Yoongi never really wanted a human pet, but when he finds Jimin in an alley, alone, miserable and injured, he can’t bring himself to let him go. Not when anyone could see that the little human needs someone to take care of him.
