energetic surf zone. Breaking waves of 6 to 10 feet are
expected.

* WHERE...San Francisco, Coastal North Bay Including Point Reyes
National Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast, Northern
Monterey Bay and Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast
Counties.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Large waves can sweep across the beach without
warning, pulling people into the sea from rocks, jetties, and
beaches.

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet for NW facing
beaches and 5 to 8 feet for SW facing beaches with dangerous
rip currents.

* WHERE...West facing beaches in San Luis Obispo County and the
Central Coast of Santa Barbara County.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip
currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large
breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and
rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...West to northwest facing beaches will
likely see the highest surf. SW beaches may still see local
sets to 10 feet.
