Clean Air is vital for child development. #4 There are 32.172 UK schools. 95% of them are in areas that exceed the WHO air quality limits. #5 Indoor air pollution sources: mould, dust mite allergens, pollen, particular matter (PM 2.5), viruses, NO², CO². #6 2-3 children at each classroom have asthma. This can be exacerbated by poor indoor air. #7 Indoor Air Quality can be 3x worse than outdoors. Ventilation with filtration can reduce pathogen concentration >80%. #8 Airborne viruses like flu, cold and COVID 19 spread easily in the air we breathe - especially poorly ventilated spaces. #9 Good ventilation improves academic performance, cognitive function and school attendance.
