The bigature for the original movie was incredible, and that was 40+ years ago so I can only imagine what the new one must be like!
Oh! Yeah they did a great job. Underneath all the vfx is an actual practical model, a bigature I believe they’re known as. It was huge!
Took a trip to the Weta Workshop experience in Auckland. Was quite fun seeing how they make the props and scenery for movies.
