Hey #Birdsky, Can anyone tell me what these beautiful critters are? The one on the ground caught a mouse or something and was enjoying it. The one on the light was watching the first one. Maybe a mating pair? Spotted in Half Moon Bay CA. Thank you! 🪽

#BirdSky people: I just downloaded the Merlin app and I really like it. So far there's just one type of local bird it hasn't been able to identify from its call.

A close-up photo of Dora the Explorer, a Rhode Island Red chicken, in profile, standing in the grass. There are two chickens behind her, out of focus.
A photo of Mimi Parker Bobbsey, a Barred Rock chicken, standing in the grass and looking straight at the camera. Dressy Bessy, a Black Sex Link chicken, is poking around in the grass behind her.

I can't figure this one out, Birdsky. Help? This bird looked greenish when I saw it, but in the photo it's got a grey head, pale yellow belly with faint broken streaks, no wing bars. Looks like maybe a broken eye ring with a faint dark stripe. A female orange-crowned warbler maybe? #birds

Photo of a plain greyish-green bird with a white eye ring that's maybe got a faint dark eye stripe and a small bill, sitting on some purple-flowering prairie plants

I thought this was an Eastern Phoebe, but now that I'm looking at the photo and seeing that tail, I'm not sure. I thought Phoebe tails were solidly dark? Opinions welcome, Birdsky! #birds

Hey #birdsky#birds situation This lovely creature has perched atop my screen door and is just… hanging out. Is friendly, has colored bands. I don’t know much about homing pigeons, do they sometimes do unplanned stops along a route? What should I do? Thoughts?

#birds#birdsky Can you help me identify this lil guy? Found on the street in the west part of Bogotá, Colombia. He's quite a big lad, about the size of an adult pigeon! I brought him because he was in the street with dogs everywhere. He's in a dark quiet room for now.
