I think in this case because i already listen to Blackbraid and a lot of stuff not in English in general it threw it at me because it knew I'd bite. I actually stopped what I was doing when I heard it come up bc I realized it wasn't in a language I listen to that often! I also scrobble using LastFM

Now listening to: Blackbraid with the album Blackbraid II from 2023. Blackbraid is a Native American black metal project from Adirondack Mountains in New York state. Pretty melodic and brutal, with a lot of focus on nature in the lyrics, good stuff! You can hear hints of Enslaved in the mix.
It's really unfortunate you feel that way since Blackbraid exists. There's finally relevant musicians but I also understand why someone may not relate either.
