For Inktober/Ponytober/Unitober Day 15 ("Guidebook"/"Gala/Party"/"Crafting"). #inktober#mlp#mlpg5#MistyBrightdawn#IzzyMoonbow#SeñorButterscotch

Izzy sitting at a table putting together a tiny house out of sticks and glue. A guidebook lies open to her side. Señor Butterscotch is sitting next to her. In the rear, Misty is peeking her head into the frame and is looking at the viewer. A banner with the words "CRAFT FESTIVAL" surrounded by a painter's palette and a crossed pencil and paintbrush hangs behind Izzy.

Time for what is turning out to be my daily Eccles cake.

An Eccles cake, photographed in its bag. Note the sheen on the paper. That's not grease. Oh, no. That's from where the caramelised sugar and butter from the pastry plus from where the raisin filling has bubbled out, giving the cake a butterscotch Maillard underside.

And if your microwave is over the stove like mine, you can spend the time between stirring eating the leftover krispies stuck in the pot. Anywho, they are "frosted" and I just have to wait for them to set.

9x13 with chocolate and butterscotch mixed together and spread evenly over the top of a peanut butter rice krispie base.
