Not only are there zombies, but the animals are all mutating, realities occasionally collide, aliens have invaded, and warring plant and fungus people from another dimension are all competing with what's left of humanity. The living will truly envy the dead. ##CDDA

Unfortunately, as soon as I got to thee house on the outskirts, a portal storm began. I think they're like seams splitting between parallel dimensions; best bet is to take shelter to avoid the danger. A bunch of zombies saw me duck into the house, though, which is why I'm fighting for my life. #CDDA

I'm scouting the edge of a new town, and was immediately charged by a massive zombie hulk, the first I've seen of its kind. I was lucky another survivor was camped outside of town, she shot it enough times while it chased me that all I had to do was deliver the final blow. #CDDA

Currently reenacting the hallway fight from Oldboy, only it's a sewing room, and I'm fighting a shitload of zombies. One arm is injured, so I can't wield my quarterstaff. Good thing I pack a knife at my belt. #CDDA

I play the zombie apocalypse game like it's Stardew Valley, and I don't know if that says more about me, about #CDDA, or about Stardew Valley.

It's fun to hit the point where a location that once looked like an impossible death trap now strikes me as a good place to farm kevlar drops. ##CDDA

I *need* Zomboid's NPCs to be as much of an interactive utility as they are in CDDA.

Just realized that with my current mutations and load out, my #CDDA character is basically Judy Hopps.

I dream. Flashing spasms of pain, then a wrenching sensation of strength, vitality, and glory! They are still but visions, fragments of a coming future, but even these faint apparitions fill me with longing. When I awake, I ache terribly, but I look in the mirror and I am *radiant*. #CDDA

I never could have done it myself, but the notebook from the laboratory makes it child's play. Within minutes, I have more of the serum. I don't even let it cool; in moments I swallow a whole liter of the stuff. I had to bed, for I am tired, and what awaits will not be gentle. ##CDDA
