Prairie Edge by Conor Kerr. I’ve been meaning to share this book for a while, it seems like a good day to do it. This book is great, it’s set in present day Edmonton, and it should probably have more readers. The physical book itself is also really nice. #books#canlit#prairies

Oh yeah, TWUC def. has its biases (CanLit culture is ugh) but for sure they do important work. PLR isn't enough to counter the dumpster fire that is publishing, but it's something! Here in BC, the Arts lobbyists are actually being spearheaded through the museum associatin of all things lol

And with that, my September book gauntlet has come to an end. And thank goodness, because my introvert stores are WIPED. But in all seriousness, thank you so, so much to everyone who came out to show your support and love for Canlit—even the weird horror-y side of it.
