I've been considering doing some posts about Día de Muertos and Catrinas regarding some of the historical context around them. I'm not an expert, but it could serve as a primer for people who are unfamiliar. Would anyone be interested?

Thank you for this #artshare! I hope it helps the community grow even more :) I primarily make headpieces and often combine them with Catrinas (decorative skull makeup) but not always.

Congrats on 300+!! I only know one person on here but her art is great so here's my tag for @babeandoak.bsky.social !! My inspo is a mix of my family's Mexican culture and fantasy. I love Dia de Muertos, and aim to blend the emerging aesthetics around Catrinas and crowns with my love of fantasy.
