Meeting up with Team Compbio at #BT2024DBGacademic.oup.com/insilicoplan... It was great to be back in Germany again!
Getting structurally homogenous spatial samples is often challenging. We developed a method to map the spatial context of cells between heterogenous samples gaining insights into development and patient sub-populations! #SpatialBiology#scRNA#compbiowww.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
bioRxiv - the preprint server for biology, operated by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a research and educational institution
My experience in interdisciplinary (compbio) work is that the quality of the peer reviews is a lot lower in general and there are basically no constructive reviews which make the manuscript any better. Work that fits nicely into specific fields tends to get more useful reviews.
