I confess that I’ve been marvelling for some years at the eagerness with which a number of conservative politicians have been trying and failing to chase after the votes of people who hate them.
Cool cool. My mother is dating again less than a year after the "love of her life" passed away from Stage 4 cancer (they were dating for 6 months and engaged in all but name only). I wonder if this guy will be another gay-hating conservative that my mom plays victim when I don't want to meet him? 🤔

I think this true, and I think there are probably a lot of people on the outside who think "conservative", "trad", "Opus Dei", "SSPX" etc all mean the same thing.
