So... this past year, we brought 3 boys into our home to join/keep our 13 & 14 yr old cats company. It's honestly going well & the oldsters tolerate the newbies pretty well. Took a couple of weeks, but they hang out together now. Bonus, we kind of accidentally adopted the perfect October trio 😻

'Hope' in that last post was of course meant to be 'home' but I think it's an appropriate typo. We helped to band this male Florida grasshopper sparrow last year. He got orange + white bands, so we named him Creamsicle. Good luck, little bird.

They make one that smells like an orange creamsicle. It's fantastic.

I honestly do not nor ever have I understood the iridescent hue of orange Creamsicle these men choose to present as alphas or whatever.

I got some super fancy old teacups and rotate them. I make a pot of herb tea at night and drink my fancy beverage. Tonight: creamsicle rooibos.
