Caught a stray thought last night about how my old therapist would always say “money stuff always works out.” Dunno if he said that about me cause of my relative place of privilege or not. Today got a very hefty car repair bill and I have just enough room in my credit card for it. Sigh

Weird that he goes off about forming this big beautiful child tax credit but then won't just say "and we'll reinstitute the child tax credit." Just "we'll readjust things so it's more fair to everybody."
I went into dropout mode, more or less. Barely squeaked through high school, and that was with a few months at a "vocational school" to make up my leftover credit requirements.

Credit Karma just sent me an email that said improving my credit could boost my mood. Do y'all understand the level of dystopia that puts us in? Like this alone should be enough to take up arms and stand against this system. But it's just a tiny ad for a tool to fix the problems the system made.
