I would have actually preferred the new game to drop the DOAX subtitle. If you draw a line in the sand, then the series is truly dead but this ambiguity sucks. I've read from reliable people, that Team Ninja has less only ~6 staff left who could even do a fighting game, so I've made my peace with it
The game was originally announced as "Venus Vacation New Project". I feel the DOAX as a subtitle was tacked on last minute by Koei Tecmo marketing.
Kasumi was the first i tried to learn. But she kind of felt like picking the main character (even though Kasumi is amazing). Never got to play any of the doaX games. Always wanted to. But shame doa6 might be the last entry or at least last for a long time. Luckily Tekken satisfies as a replacement
Duuuuuuuude I feel that lol. I started since my cousin had a cracked Xbox so my older cousins were playing doax, but then my brother started playing doa3 and while I played a lot of Kasumi, Hitomis personality and outfits made me gravitate to her
