sorry i know it’s a very late reply and i found this via word searching but howard chiang’s after eunuchs delves into this! it’s an interest of mine as well and actually goes quite deep even though chinese eunuchs were not typically associated with “queerness” in the regular sense

I pointedly use and enjoy follower dungeons to do the rep weekly or to run leveling dungeons with a couple friends, as well as a solo leveling tool for my glass cannons that don’t fit delves so much. I want to populate the #Warcraft telemetry and vote with my time for follower dungeon development!

those two flip side things aren't necessarily related, except to say that I've done what I'd consider a LOT of delves lol :x

I know the longer the expac goes on/more gear we get the less of a feat it is but I'm still proud that Zekvir still hasn't managed to invade any of my delves and actually succeed in killing me. Flip side, my Delver's Journey has been done for 2-3 days now and I'm missing SO many cosmetics/pets :'(
